Day 18 - Weigh in Day

Today's weigh in:
Last week - 180.6lbs
Today - 179.6lbs
-1.0 lbs from last week

Let me say this makes me feel a bit better about my efforts. And I have actually lost 2 inches in my waist! That makes me very happy. My hips are different, but I am not bothered by that today.

Yesterday I did Pilates again. I must say I always feel it the next day. And I am glad that she doesn't always do the same moves. Some of them are similar. But I like that she will add something new. And I know that I have room to grown in this area. My abs are definitely not strong, and neither are my arms. There was an exercise we did yesterday that made me realize how weak my abs are. We had our knees bent and lifted our hips up. Now that may seem fine. But not when she wanted me to lift one left off the ground at the time while still up in the air. Yeah, that didn't happen. But I hope that someday I can actually say that I did that. My legs were like "Um, we can't do that. We are going to stay here instead.

On another note, I got my first donation to the fundrazr.com "Together We Dance" site! It makes me so happy! It helps me know that this is only the beginning. And hopefully there will be more donations in the future. There is only 3 more weeks left, and I would like to raise at least $500 towards the charity "Augie's Quest". But really anything is fine with me.

Today is more Zumba. I have a routine that I am totally taking from my Zumba "Core" game. I tried it out last night after Irish class. I think it should be good. It's a nice warm up. And I really enjoy doing it! We shall find out how my students like it tonight!
