Well finally got into my fitness challenge. It took me a minute to get into it because I was busy being lazy. And I had gotten pretty good at it. But I did start, so that is good. Here is how it went.
Started off with a good healthy breakfast. And I started tracking my calories again which is a habit I can't seem to get yet. I made sure I was not only within my calorie goal, but that I was also watching what I was putting in my mouth. For example, I tend to crave sweets in the afternoon. So instead of indulging my craving, I chose to have a snack of apple and cheese. It actually took care of my sweet craving which helped me get to dinner time.
I also turned on my Wii and did an hour of Zumba. It is always nice to be a follower instead of a leader sometimes. Now I only had an issue with one of the songs. Unfortunately I can't Zumba on an ideal floor and instead have to do it where the tv is. Which is on carpet in the living room. And carpet doesn't let you slide or twist very well. Anyway, the routine was a Cumbia/Reggaeton mix and for some reason my body wasn't getting it. I ended up trying a little hard and almost wrenched my knee. So instead of trying to do the routine and injure myself. I just danced around a little to stay in the movement. Of course you don't get 5 stars that way. But oh well. I wasn't about to inure myself.
